So I have decided to restart Tech News Series and I am not making any promise for now but I'll try making 3-4 of these every week. And I am bringing something new, I will add polls at the end of each tech news. So let's jump into the news.
Realme X7 Series Launch Date Teased

Realme X7 Poster |
So Realme is launching its X7 Series in China on
September 1, 2PM CST (11:30AM IST). I hope you couldn't
understand a single word in the trailer just like me. But the global launch is
still uncertain. It would surely launch globally but the details are still
unknown.
Isn't the X3 Series just 2 months old in India? I think Realme should
definitely take time and work on their phones for minor issues and provide
better software support. Coming back to the phone, these both support 5G. Now
I am sure that the X7 Pro has Snapdragon 865/865+. But I am not sure about the
vanilla X7. It can also opt for the SD865 but I have a strong feeling that
Realme would choose SD768G in the Realme X7 which is a step below the
Snapdragon 855+ on its predecessor (keeping 5G Support aside).
The biggest problem people had with the Realme X3 series was the display. It
was an IPS LCD with 120Hz Refresh Rate. The X7 Series would retain the 120 Hz
Refresh Rate but would opt AMOLED on both phones. This time the display would
also be curved on the edges. Both would have 4300 mAh Battery with 65W
SuperDart Charging. But I wish Realme brings back the Audio Jack.

Realme 7 Series might also launch in September too. The normal Realme 7 with
model number RMX2176 would come with 4300 mAh battery. It would have 65W
charging support but it would have 30W charger in the box. The second is the
Realme 7 Pro (Model:- RMX2121) which would have 4500 mAh battery. It would
also have 65W charging and this would have 50W charger in the box. It would
also have In-Display Scanner. This would weigh less than 200g and will be
slimmer than 8mm.
Both will have quad camera setup. The rear camera is 64MP on both and 32MP
selfie camera on the front. They will have Punch-Hole Display with AMOLED
(Thank God) retaining the 90 Hz Refresh Rate. 5G connectivity. I can say that
they would have Mediatek Dimensity Chipsets. Or the cheaper Realme 7 might
also pack a Snapdragon 690 5G. So let's see what would have. BTW, their price
is ₹15000.
Redmi 9 Coming Soon
According to a tweet by Manu Kumar, Redmi is soon going to bring Redmi 9 in
India. Now this will be different from the global variant as it is launched
as the Redmi 9 Prime. So this might be a rebadged Redmi 9C. Redmi 9C comes
with a Helio G35. It has 6.53" HD+ IPS LCD Display. There is a 13MP Triple
Camera with 2MP Depth and Macro Lens. The front camera is 5MP. There is 5000
mAh battery with 10W charging. There is a Micro-USB Port.
Redmi 9A and 9C aren't that great and I think Xiaomi would surely make
changes like adding Fast Charging and Type-C. Redmi might also launch the
Redmi 9A. The Redmi 9A should pack a Helio G35 instead of G25 and should
also have Type-C and fast charging. Here is the tweet.
Moto Razr 5G Battery Capacity Leaked
![]() |
Moto Razr 5G Leaked Images |
The previous Moto Razr was kind of disappointing. It has issues with the build quality, gave a lower-midrange processor at ₹1,25,000. And the biggest con was its terrible battery life due to the low 2510 mAh capacity. It was completely killed by the Galaxy Z Flip. So the new Moto Razr 5G is coming soon to replace it.
Don't be very happy, the new Moto Razr 5G is still not that great. According
to TUV Rheinland listing, this will come with
2633 mAh battery. The smaller LS30 battery has a capacity of
1180mAh while the bigger LS40 battery has a rated capacity of 1453mAh. This
adds up to 2633. This will also upgrade the charging to 18W.
So be ready for below-average battery life. This will have the
Snapdragon 765G along with 8GB RAM 256GB Storage. The display
will be the same 6.2" 876x2142 Display with an ugly notch. It would use a 48MP
Samsung ISOCELL GM1 camera sensor which is seriously outdated and found in
lower-midrange phones. The front camera is 20MP.
It is going to have an in-display fingerprint scanner. Now the issue is that
the screens of folding phones is very fragile and using the fingerprint
scanner would damage the screen. The model numbers of the phone are XT
2071-2, XT 2071-3, XT 2071-4, and XT 2071-5. And it will be launched on
September 9. It would also have a Mercury Silver colour.
Gionee making Comeback
![]() |
The Poster |
Gionee was dead after its owner Liu Lirong lost $144 Million to Gambling. It
happened in November 2018 when the company was already in a bad state. A few
months before that, Gionee sold its India Business to Indian Mobile Maker,
Karbonn. If Motorola can be called Chinese because it's bought by Lenovo,
Gionee can now be called an Indian Company.
Gionee is bringing a new phone called the Gionee Max to make a comeback almost
one year after the Gionee F9 that wasn't very nice. Now, this has a 4500 mAh
battery which isn't small by any means. It will be under ₹6,000 and has a
Waterdrop Notch Screen but with relatively thick bezels. Gionee should firstly
bring a Snapdragon or Mediatek Helio Chip (not something like MT6739 in M01
Core) instead of Spreadtrum Unisoc.
I wouldn't judge this phone just by a poster and Gionee might do a good job
with this phone. BTW, this would come on Flipkart on August 25. In fact, a
Gionee phone (read: power bank with a screen) with a 10,000 mAh battery. It
would have a 5.72" Screen and a fingerprint scanner. And Gionee even launched
some smartwatches in June.
